Roles & Fit at Paragon Micro
We hire high-impact talent across sales, technical, operations, and support functions. Every role is directly connected to helping federal customers plan, procure, integrate, and sustain mission-critical technology solutions. This is work that requires precision, ownership, and a commitment to excellence.
We look for individuals who operate with urgency, accountability, and intention. Our team members are trusted advisors who build strong relationships, think critically, and follow through. If you thrive in environments where expectations are high and results matter, you’ll fit well here.
For most roles, we require:
- 6+ years of field-based technology sales experience, with a focus on the Federal Government or VAR experience.
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue and margin goals while hunting for new business and expanding existing relationships within the Department of Defense and Army.
- Expertise in working with OEMs like Dell, Cisco, Microsoft, HP, EMC, and leveraging contract vehicles to close business.
- Strong understanding of Federal contracting cycles, procurement strategies, and acquisition policies (FAR/DFAR).
Work arrangements vary by role and business need. We aim to provide flexibility where possible, while maintaining a strong connection to our teams and customers. Each role clearly outlines expectations so there are no surprises.
Culture & Day-to-Day
Our culture is rooted in accountability, entrepreneurship, and teamwork. We empower individuals to take initiative, think creatively, and deliver results—while staying deeply connected to their team, leadership, and Federal customers. Success here is shared, and contributions are visible.
No two days are the same. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, partner closely with leading technology vendors, and engage directly with federal clients. The work is dynamic, client-focused, and centered on advancing opportunities and delivering secure, mission ready, and resilient technology solutions.
Growth at Paragon Micro Federal is driven by performance, initiative, and curiosity. Whether it’s expanding customer accounts, taking on new responsibilities, or developing new skill sets, we provide the exposure, support, and leadership access needed to grow your career in meaningful ways.

Federal Environment & Requirements
Some roles require or prefer an active security clearance. When that’s the case, it will be clearly outlined in the job description so you can assess alignment early in the process.

Yes—we actively value and welcome veterans. The leadership, discipline, and mission-focus gained through military service translate strongly to our environment, and we’re committed to supporting a successful transition into the private sector.
Hiring Process
Our process is designed to be thoughtful, transparent, and efficient. It typically includes an application review, conversations with team members and leadership, and a final decision based on mutual alignment—skills, experience, and cultural fit.
Timelines can vary depending on the role, but we prioritize timely communication and an efficient process while ensuring we find the right fit for both you and the team.
