Paragon Micro delivered a fully integrated, enterprise-scale Video Surveillance System modernization for Keesler Air Force Base.
The engagement included engineering, installation, network integration, compliance alignment, training, and long-term sustainment planning. The result was a resilient, scalable surveillance capability, cleanly integrated into base operations and aligned with Department of Defense network standards.
Mission Challenge
Keesler Air Force Base required modernization of legacy surveillance infrastructure across high-priority operational areas.
Challenges included:

• Hurricane season weather disruption

Technical Approach
Site Assessment and Infrastructure Remediation
Paragon Micro conducted a comprehensive site survey to identify:

• Cisco Catalyst 9300 switches
• 732 Axis Communications IP cameras
• Enterprise-grade servers and storage
• Over 130,000 feet of new cable

• Visitor Center
• Entry gates
• Commercial Vehicle Inspection Area
• Base Defense Operations Center
• Command Post
• Flight line
• Nine student dormitories
This significantly expanded situational awareness across the installation.

Paragon Micro assumed full lifecycle responsibility, including:
• Program management
• Labor and materials
• Installation and testing

The team adapted schedules and scope to accommodate legacy building retrofits and hurricane season disruptions without compromising quality or performance.
Compliance and Risk Leadership
DoD Network Compliance
Paragon Micro guided next-generation surveillance technology through the Department of Defense Information Network Approved Products List process, coordinating testing and approvals to ensure compliance while accelerating deployment.
Supply Chain Risk Mitigation
We advised the customer on invoking the Defense Priorities and Allocations System to mitigate COVID-related supply chain disruptions, preserving schedule integrity.
Quality Assurance Oversight
Paragon Micro strengthened project execution by transitioning to a higher-performing installation partner, ensuring superior workmanship while maintaining cost and schedule discipline.
